REVERSE ENGINEERED OBJECT: PROGRESS II

Work in progress, perspective and front view. I have a difficult time figuring out how to close my surfaces. 




I will keep working on my rendering to finish and have most of the render done next week.

MY FIRST DEFINITION Video tutorial (1/8) Grasshopper simplifies the process of creating the division, and it is astounding that a slider can be added to play with the amount of division between the curves. Find super helpful the commands (command + option) to find something or (edit +find +type) to find something on large files.  Find interesting the use of gradients because you can have interesting colour combinations.  Exploration and following Grasshopper tutorial. I have learned a lot from the tutorials. Grasshopper is a valuable tool that can facilitate the creation of new projects. I found the tutorials easy and fun to follow, and I liked the idea of creating something new that you can also change later. That is why I found the slide command great for this. It is important to keep organized and white notes. Also, it is possible to design many exciting things by practising.

My first 3d Model in Rhino The Castle

I have difficulty figuring out how to work in Rhino, the perspectives and how to use the mouse. I used Boolean union and boolean difference, which took me a lot of trials to succeed; once I created my original, I copied and pasted different versions of my landscape.    After I finished my castle, I played with colour and lighting, which was super enjoyable as I got different outcomes by trying other possibilities. I was playing with lights and shadows and the intensity and colour of my lights, which later I could adjust on my light layer. Changing the colour of the lights which I add inside and around the city (castle) Ghost Right side view of my castle where the pillars can be seen. ALGORITHMIC SURFACE MODELLING + ANIMATION I had fun during the process; first, I explored some surface modelling, which I began in rhino, then worked on Grasshopper.  After the exploration, I decided to make a star pattern in Grasshopper.   First,  with a triangle and find the area. Draw a line between the star point and the center. Love the pattern... Process I struggle to just show the mesh and animated still a work in progress.  Still trying to figure out the mesh animation, as it does not look as I wanted...
