REVERSE ENGINEERED 
                                          OBJECT: SELECTION 

For the reverse engineering project, I choose three possible objects that I found interesting. For my first option, I decided on the speedball lino cutter as it has a lot of little pieces, and it is easy to put it apart and back together. It has a twist_off end cap, cutter storage and a chuck system, which is easy to set apart. 

                                                                                  

For my second option, I chose a cute camera pencil sharpener which has different parts that can come apart. I am kind more toward my first option as I don't know if I can put it back together once I put it apart. So it will be interesting to try and see how the mechanics work.                                                                                                                  

                                                             









For my third option, I decide on the Wacom pencil and tips holder, which is very interesting as it has different parts that come apart, especially the different kinds of tips and the interchangeable colours, so I find it interesting.

  MILESTONE PROJECT 1: STACKED SLICES MODEL During my thinking process, I wanted to create a pond with fish, but after several tries, I decided to make a stacked bunny. I like the idea because it is the Chinese year of the rabbit. I have a difficult time saving my rhino file and grasshopper. REPLICATED/REMEDIATED: MOLD POSITIVES & MATCH PLATE. preparing the 3d print (fish vase) to add the plaster mixing water with gypsum powder  ADDING THE MIX TO THE 3D PRINT OBJECTS  ALMOST DRY PREPARING THE OTHER HALF OF THE MOLD ;) WE HAVE FUN PREPARING THE 3D OBJECT, AND LATER PREPARING THE MOLD, THE TAIL OF THE FISH GOT STUCK ON THE MOLD BUT, AND THE END WORKS GOOD.

ALGORITHMIC SURFACE MODELLING + ANIMATION I had fun during the process; first, I explored some surface modelling, which I began in rhino, then worked on Grasshopper.  After the exploration, I decided to make a star pattern in Grasshopper.   First,  with a triangle and find the area. Draw a line between the star point and the center. Love the pattern... Process I struggle to just show the mesh and animated still a work in progress.  Still trying to figure out the mesh animation, as it does not look as I wanted...
